The Child Care Resource Center is committed to increasing literacy because literacy empowers people.
The gift of literacy enables children to gain the knowledge that they need to succeed in school and in life. It also increases self-esteem and helps children to develop long-term life skills.

School Readiness and Parenting Results
CCRC offers a wide range of high quality programs that help children and parents attain the necessary skills that place them on a path for success. Our programs increase readiness for kindergarten in underserved children and increase a parent's ability to support their child's readiness - significant gains are accomplished in language, learning, math and more amongst children 0-5 years.
CCRC Champions for Children
The Child Care Resource Center’s Champions For Children Award honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional generosity – through direct financial support, outstanding civic and charitable responsibility and whose personal dedication encourages others to take philanthropic leaderships roles within the community.

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) assists parents, child care professionals, employers, and local communities in all matters related to early care and education.
Since 1976, CCRC’s mission has been guided by the belief that our social and economic future depends on the quality of a young child’s experiences. We encourage the growth and development of children and their families through our creative, informative and supportive programs and services.
CCRC serves over 25,000 children and families each month in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita, and Antelope Valleys – working effectively with parents, child care professionals, community members, businesses and government agencies to promote higher standards in child care and early education.
