Child Care Payment Options

Payment Options

As a child care provider, you must select one of the following two options to receive child care payments from CCRC:

Payment Option #1:  Direct Deposit
Direct Deposit is when CCRC sends your child care payment directly to your checking or savings account.  As such, you will need to have an active checking or savings account to participate in this option.  The direct deposit form and a voided check with your pre-printed information can be submitted to your local CCRC office or mailed to the address on the form.

CCRC will issue you a payment summary with every deposit. The summary will reflect the names of the children, child care month, and the amount that was deposited into your account. We believe this to be the best and most secure payment option.  Please make sure to keep us informed if you change your bank information (i.e., close account, change banks).

Payment Option #2:  Provider Pay Card (PPC)
Provider Pay Cards (PPC) act like a debit card and offer an alternative to Direct Deposit for child care providers who do not have bank accounts.  If you choose the PPC option, you will be required to sign up in person at CCRC’s Chatsworth or Lancaster location.  A valid photo ID or any other U.S. Government issued ID must be presented when completing the PPC application.

You can use your PPC to access your child care payments at ATMs, grocery stores or the Post Office.  Pay cards offer these benefits to child care providers regardless of their ability to obtain a bank account or credit card.  CCRC will issue you a payment summary with every deposit reflecting the names of the children, child care month, and the amount that was deposited onto your card.

Lost or Stolen Pay Card
Contact the card company's customer service number at 1 (888) 397-0767 to report your card lost or stolen.  Come to a CCRC office to receive your replacement card.  Please make sure you bring in a valid Government issued photo id.

CCRC will charge a $5.00 administrative fee for each replacement card and the card company will also charge a $5.00 processing fee for each replacement.

Expired PPC
Please be aware that CCRC’s provider pay cards have an expiration date. You may obtain a replacement card free of charge within the month that your card expires by bringing it to one of CCRC’s two main offices.
