What is Gateways for Early Educators?
Need some new ideas? Want to get more business? Want to improve the quality of your early care environment?
Gateways for Early Educators offers a unique opportunity for you to complete required trainings in designated core areas. Upon successful completion of the required 40 hours, you will receive a certificate of completion.
The ten comprehensive training topic areas are:

- Learning Environment and Curriculum
- Families and Community
- Program Management
- Positive Interactions and Guidance
- Child Observation and Assessment
- Promoting Diversity and Dual Language Development
- Professional Growth and Leadership
- Special Needs and Inclusion
Trainings are offered in these topic areas at partnering Resource & Referral agencies across Los Angeles County. Classes are open to any child care professional at any level and the Gateways program also offers coaching support.
