I am interested in a career in Early Childhood Education
Since 2000, CCRC has given low income individuals the opportunity to receive training and education for careers in early childhood education. The United Way has funded this unique program through June of 2011.
College-level courses are offered in:
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- Early Childhood Education
- General Education
Associate Teacher Permit - The program is designed to meet requirements for the Associate Teacher Permit offered by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. The student receives:
- Mentoring and case management throughout the two-year program and beyond
- Job search and placement
- Workshops
- Resume writing guidance
Financial Assistance and Registration - The Careers program includes financial assistance with the cost of registration, books, supplies, transportation, and the application fee for an Associate Teacher Permit.
