2012 Volunteer Opportunities

Book Drive (Anytime, Holiday)

We believe that every child deserves the chance to own a book.  Recent startling research shows that while children in middle-income neighborhoods have an average of 13 books, only 1 book is available to every 300 children in low-income neighborhoods. CCRC committed to collecting and distributing 100,000 books to low income children in 2010 and we did it!  So far, we have collected 250,000 books and we are doing it again in 2012.  Join us!

A fun and interactive event for children, parents and child care professionals and provides hundreds of hands-on activities for children of every age.

Play Day continues to grow with over 3,500 attendees in 2011 – this event is an opportunity for families and the community to come together in support of child development and spend quality time together.
